The new collection by fashion designer Cris Barros, was divided into three chapters and thought of as an exercise in looking at nature as sculpture and landscape as art, creating the contemplation of light, time and space.
“A dialogue between the natural and the created by the individual, linking the physical to the ephemeral in a transformative sensory experience that creates a connection between heaven and earth.”
Land Art was an artistic movement that was born in the 60s, using the landscape as artistic creation, by the fusion of nature and art. Chapter 1 pays homage to this experience, in which the observer interacts with the work and the grandeur of nature as a source of inspiration.
The AW21 Collection Preview features two editions that portray the junction of art and nature. The pieces represent landscapes through fabrics, shapes, fitting, embroidery and colors.
The Entre Céu e Terra collection promotes fluid fitting that represents freedom of creation, pieces with a structured cotton shape as true works of art that translate a vintage and sophisticated vibe in the edition, with spiral embroidery with sequins in a shiny satin fabric and fluid fitting for a graphic and timeless proposal. And yet, the accessories gain conceptual inspiration and appear in reinvented and exclusive versions. Finally, there is jewelry such as the little finger ring, the asymmetrical sparkle earring, the golden spiral necklace and bracelet with hand-painted details.
