Fashion designer Martha Medeiros participates in Cotton Rural Tourism

More than 50 guests from the world of fashion, communication, art and digital influence participated in the Rural Tourism of Cotton on August 24, promoted by the Agroligadas movement in Campo Verde (MT).

The event shows all the processes of cotton production, from the harvest to the transformation of the fiber into yarn. Communication about sustainability in production is the focus of the visit.

Among the visitors, stylist and businesswoman Martha Medeiros also had the opportunity to see the production line up close: “I’m in love with cotton lace, because cotton for me is affection, a cotton suit is a suit that gives affection. Today, here at Rural Tourism of Cotton, is a very special day for me, because I learned what these clothes are, I already imagined them and got to know them through films, but being here and meeting in person, getting to know the farm, the way the painters are treated, generates wealth for our Brazil. I end my day grateful to Agroligadas and immensely happy”.
