The resumption of events and fashion shows not only brings new freshness, but also highlights new names of creators and disruptive brands, which are aware of more demanding consumption and do not skimp on comfort, design and versatility.
Catherine Maaskant is the founder and creative director of the international swimwear brand Empress Brasil. Dutch-Brazilian and based in New York, Catherine travels the world in search of inspiration for her collections. With jet-setter DNA, the brand is based in Brazil, where everything is created and produced, always maintaining exclusivity in its designs and prints.
“The bikini is the darling of Brazilian fashion abroad. Our collections manage to break boundaries, taking the garment to highly disputed resorts, such as the European Mediterranean, and to the most interesting stores in Miami and the Caribbean”, says the stylist.
With the aim of expanding this international success, Empress Brasil selected a team of fashion experts to make their first simultaneous presentation at the Brazilian fashion week. The fashion show will take place next Tuesday (22.11), at Casa Mollde, an exclusive space for architecture, decoration and, mainly, Brazilian design. The styling is signed by Marcio Vicentini, with a soundtrack by Johnny Luxo and curated by Patricia Carta.
The event will also feature a talk about beachwear and summer, with guests such as actress Sílvia Pfeifer and physician Giovana Moraes.
