Dindi

Dindi Eyewear: an independent brand, handcrafted in Brazil.

São Paulo, Brazil – Founded in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Dindi is built on the principles of visual harmony and the appreciation of handmade craftsmanship. Through its intricate collages, the brand stands out in the contemporary Brazilian fashion scene with eyewear that embodies simplicity, grace, and a unique personality. handmade artisanal processes with meticulous attention to detail.

Dindi was born independent, as the realization of a lifelong project. With 20 years of experience in the eyewear industry, the brand’s creative director carries the heritage of a family dedicated to optics for over half a century. Today, this legacy is reflected in each frame, designed and produced entirely in the brand’s atelier in Brazil.

Inspired by the minimalist lines of architecture, the aesthetic precision of art, and the elegance of contemporary Brazilian fashion and design, this inspiration is embodied in optical and sunglasses collections characterized by transparency, collages, beveled finishes, and bold shapes. The details turn each frame into something unique, fostering a personal connection between the wearer and their eyewear. Every frame is crafted from the finest cellulose acetate and Italian components.

Colors are also a distinctive element of the brand’s DNA, offering original, creative combinations that break away from the conventional, while always exuding aesthetic refinement and sophistication.

The correct pronunciation of the brand is “Din-dí,” with emphasis on the second syllable. The name “Dindi” emerged from Vernaglia’s family life, where, for his young daughters, it signifies something beautiful and special. This affection was the immediate inspiration for naming the eyewear collection.
Each frame is produced inhouse in São Paulo, using a process that combines advanced technology and precision with a series of exclusively artisanal stages, carried out by highly skilled professionals, many with extensive experience in eyewear production.

One such stage is polishing: each frame undergoes at least four rounds of polishing by hand to meet the brand’s high standards of quality and finish. Frames featuring collages are another excellent example, as they require a refined technique to ensure a smooth surface with no visible seams between materials.
