Starting from humble beginnings, Elaine learned to fight for her dreams from an early age. In her teenage years, her entrepreneurial and creative drive started to gain momentum as she entered the job market.

Elaine paused her career as a multinational executive to become a full-time mom. When returning to work, she decided to re-launch her career on her own terms; she went shopping and became an independent fashion jewellery reseller, providing her clients with in-person service and going from door to door, literally.

After one decade as a reseller, Elaine found inspiration during a family trip abroad to take her business in a new direction: she begun designing original fashion jewellery herself.

Her creations carry the authenticity of the designer’s creative essence, closely intertwined with the beautiful and feminine symbolism of the orchid. The delicate shapes of this millenary flower infuse Elaine’s pieces with unique movement natural elegance.

Elaine is featured in the most relevant fashion editorials in the field, like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She is the designer of her authorial brand as well as the founder of Mallorca Joias. Since 2001, her practice focuses on imparting soulful beauty onto her pieces and reflecting hew own inner essence in her creative process with sophistications, boldness, and desire.
